Rauf Denktas University, which will begin teaching in the 2017-2018 academic year, has become a member of the International Association of Quality Assurance Agencies for Higher Education (INQAAHE). According to a statement made by Rauf Denktas University, which will start education at the temporary campus in the heart of the old city of Nicosia, INQAAHE is the overall accreditation body of all quality assurance agencies. INQAAHE currently has over 200 quality assurance institutions and over 180 university members. Basic mission of INQAAHE is to share good practices with its members on quality assurance issues and to evaluate and direct national and international accreditation bodies. In this context, INQAAHE is the top institution working on quality education for universities.
Rauf Denktas University has become a member of INQAAHE last month, and was invited to INQAAHE’s General Assembly to be held on 2 – 4 May 2018. President of Rauf Denktas University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Ali Bicak is attending the meeting with the right to vote on the organization’s activities, budget and future plans. Prof. Bicak has emphasized that in addition to representing Rauf Denktas University in an important international meeting, it is also important to maintain existing relations with quality and assurance agencies directors and university presidents from various Arab and African countries.
